Installing MT5 .ex5 indicators and tools

After downloading .ex5, place it in the appropriate MT5 directory as described below. See the Help Center for source-code availability and risk information.

01Open Data FolderIn the MT5 top menu, choose File → Open Data Folder.
02Place in the correct directoryIndicators go in MQL5/Indicators; EAs and panels go in MQL5/Experts.
03Refresh NavigatorReturn to MT5, open Navigator and right-click Refresh in the Indicators or EAs list.
04Drag onto a chartDrag the indicator or tool onto the relevant symbol chart and check parameters as needed.
05Check displayThe public panel requires no account authorization. Use an MT5 hedging account and check the algorithmic trading switch before executing trades.
